It’s all in the details and preparation
The execution of the project starts as soon as all the licenses and permits are agreed and given. The second step is to set up detailed plans and land use plan to get a scope of the work that needs to be done and to meet all the project goals with confidence. Details such as the work flow, phases of the project and scheduling are all carefully set out in the work plan.
Access at all times
During construction we always make sure that several areas are fully completed according to the land use plan and are open to the public so that it can be accessed at all times and everyone can be involved in the project by seeing the progress directly and up close. The mining of aggregates/natural resources moves gradually throughout the project terrain and thats how we are able to keep certain areas for their specific current land uses such as agriculture.
A sustainable balanced relationship: Breeding season and mining
As soon as the work plans are agreed upon the ecologist will start inspecting the work terrain. This ensures that the project is at all times a project that is done in cooperation with nature. Removal of vegetation is therefore always done outside of the breeding season and this bio mass will be used for the production of energy. Furthermore, the soil with roots is excavated and stored in a temporary storage facility. The stored soil with roots will later be used for the banks in order to skirt the lake. The clay will also be digged up and transported to a brick or roof tile factory or it will be used to make the dikes stronger. When the sand package is digged up the sand mining process will start right after.
Sustainable total project approach
During all activities of the project there will be a special attention to the use of materials and methods in order to ensure the lowest possible energy consumption.
